This project, with @disability_visibility and @leahlakshmiwrites only began a month ago and we were able to send over 1500 eSims to Gaza. Over a fourth of them have been activiated. Reading the stories of survival and connection and devestation @mirna_elhabawi's page, direct from Palestinians using the eSims we've been sending has been heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. We, especially those of us in the west, must do everything in our power to stop the bombs and stop Isr**l's forced starvation and famine of Palestinians in Gaza. Or liberation is tied to Palestinian liberation. As Rasha Abdulhadi says, "Today is a good day to ruin someone powerful's afternoon," Let's keep showing up and keep masking at solidarity events and keep sending eSims this global strike week. Text: Over the course of this project we noticed that eSim companies were raising their prices, but also adapting as we speak. How does a product under racial captialism change when its ervices, often marketed for tourism are not used for basic survival? All solidarity to those disrupting stores and malls today! #NoBusinessAsUsual. There is no disability justice without a free Palestine and an end to settler colonialism. Whether its in our streets, in our inboxes, in our phone lines, from our beds, withholding our money through boycotts, withholding our labour through strikes, or with our loved ones at our dinner tables, we disabled people in the west owe our Palestinian kin to get in the way.
