Series Description

The Critical Access Studies series explores the meanings of "access" emerging from critical disability to scholarship, activism, and design, troubling the concept of "access"and its associations with liberal rights. Foregrounding new theoretical tools, historical archives,design projects, ethnographic data, and disability culture and arts, Critical Access Studies explores the political goal of access, as well as its sometimes-unexpected material outcomes.
